Before launching this festival, he coordinated several community-based screening events across North America and advised on creative development strategies for emerging filmmakers. His background blends event production and nonprofit leadership.
Head of Programming – Jeannette Vasquez
Jeannette brings over 12 years of experience in festival curation and film education. She earned her MA in Film Studies from Western Institute of the Arts & Humanities, where her thesis focused on narrative frameworks in emerging world cinema. Jeannette has collaborated with regional film societies, guest-curated retrospectives across Latin America, and regularly consults for documentary projects in development. Her programming philosophy centers on platforming voices from underrepresented regions.
Marketing – Gloria Eddy
With a background in visual communication and cultural marketing, Gloria has led campaigns for several grassroots festivals and hybrid events. Her work includes audience engagement strategy, brand identity, and digital media outreach. Gloria is passionate about promoting storytelling that transcends borders and formats.
